**2003 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8 (Jaguar AJ-V8) – Intake Manifold Torque Sequence**

Intake Manifold Bolts (M6)

Three-step sequence (cold engine):

1. Step 1: **44 in-lb (5 Nm)**
2. Step 2: **74 in-lb (8.5 Nm)**
3. Step 3: **106 in-lb (12 Nm)**

Tighten in spiral pattern from center outward.

Fuel Injector Hold-Down Bolts

**94 in-lb (10.7 Nm)** – single step.

Throttle Body Bolts

**106 in-lb (12 Nm)** – single step.

Notes

• Use new gaskets; clean surfaces thoroughly.
• Torque wrench calibrated in inch-pounds required.
• Re-torque after first heat cycle recommended by some technicians.
