For a unique vacation experience, go horseback riding. There are horseback riding expeditions focused solely on horses, such as dude ranches or farms. Some vacations are a blend of outdoor activities based on the natural surroundings, from skiing in the mountains to hiking in the woods. Horseback riding is available in most countries including Iceland, Tanzania and Columbia.

Makoa-Farm near Mt. Kilimanjaro
- Ride horseback in the African bush of West Kilimanjaro. Immerse yourself in the rich local culture as you stay at the 358-acre Makoa-Farm coffee farm. The farm has 26 horses that are prepared for horseback riding. Andean Horseback Expedition
