Sign in to your Expedia account. All travel booking requires an Expedia account which you would have created at or before the time you booked the trip you wish to cancel. The "Sign In" link is located at the top of Expedia's site. You will be prompted to give your email or user name and password. If you have forgotten your sign-in information, it can be forwarded to your email account after answering some security questions.
Go to "My Itineraries," located on the top Expedia's site. "My Itineraries" lists all the travel you have booked with Expedia. Information provided includes which type of travel booked, reservation numbers, dates and pricing information. Find the reservation you want to cancel.
Click the "Cancel This Reservation" button located next to the itinerary you wish to cancel. You may have to perform this more than one time if you have multiple itineraries you wish to cancel. This will navigate you a cancellation page.
Review the cancellation policy and fees. This page will outline any fees which will be charged for canceling the reservation. Expedia does not charge any fees for canceling travel, but they may be imposed by the travel provider, such as a hotel or airline. After reviewing, click the "Cancel" button.
Call Expedia to cancel certain flight reservations if you cannot cancel from "My Itineraries." Expedia's toll-free number can assist you in canceling flights. Most airlines charge a high cancellation fee and your credit card will need to be billed at the time of cancellation.
