The Waterlefe Golf & River Club is an exclusive country club and golf resort in Bradenton, 13 miles north of Sarasota. There is an 18 hole, par-72 course, with a number of sand and water traps on most holes. There is also a pro shop onsite filled with top of the line apparel, clubs, and accessories. The club pros at Waterlefe are always onhand for tips and advice and can be hired out for private lessons as well. There are extensive tennis facilities onsite, as well as a fine dining restaurant and bar. The Waterlefe can be rented out for catered for private parties, events, and weddings. The Waterlefe is a private club which requires an application and approval of admittance before one can use their facilities.

River Run Golf Links is a public, 18 hole par-70 course in Bradenton which is available for use seven days a week throughout the year. River run offers challenging courses at affordable rates, and also has a fully stocked pro shop and snack bar. River Run has golf pros available for private instruction, and can hosts a number of special tournaments and charity events. The course also has golf carts available for rental for an increased golf fee.
