A pizza bistro and bar, Matchbox bakes its pizza in a wood-fueled masonry oven. Located in a renovated Chinese grocery store, the narrow restaurant has booth-style seating and brick architectural accents. Matchbox serves meat-based entrees as well as small and large pizzas with toppings that range from Spanish ham and kalamata olives to red roasted peppers. For dessert, guests can order a fresh fruit pizza topped with berries and icing. The restaurant has an extensive list of domestic and imported beers and wines as well as specialty cocktails. The cocktail list is divided into three categories: "Matchbox Top 10," "Girlie Martinis" and "Manly Martinis." Matchbox is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and open for brunch on Sundays.

Fado Irish Pub is an Irish sports bar and restaurant located in Chinatown. Decorated with gleaming dark woods and dim hanging lights, the pub also has a separate "whiskey room," which has intimate small tables and a checkered tile floor. The menu is a mix of American and Irish pub fare, with a selection of burgers and salads on the American side and dishes like fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage and bangers and mash on the Irish side. Beer dominates the drink menu (no shortage of Guinness here), but Fado also has a large selection of Irish whiskeys. Sleepy patrons can order an Irish coffee, a mix of whiskey, coffee and whipped cream. Fado Irish Pub is open for lunch and dinner daily.
