To join TraVerus, you pay on a sliding scale of fees. The basic Associates level costs $20, with a $40 annual renewal. The Basic Product Package runs $199.95, the Telecom Product Package $249.95 and the Business Builder Package $399.95.
World Ventures offers a Representative Business System for $99.95 and a Leisure Travel Consultant (LTC) package for $249.95. This company also offers memberships in a vacation club, DreamTrips, that allows members to choose from a variety of destinations for their own travel.
For sales of agent memberships, TraVerus currently pays $50 or $75, depending on the level sold, and "coded bonuses" on your agents' sales (after the first two sales) of $15 or $20. On travel sales, the company offers a "fast start commission" of $50 on the first two sales, and $70 thereafter. The company also offers "matching coded bonuses" of $100 or $150 on certain commissions earned by your recruited agents. Some agents also earn a Business Builder Leadership Bonus beginning with the seventh agent they personally enroll.
World Ventures pays commissions on sales to customers, not for recruiting new representatives. Members first "activate" their business by personally purchasing or selling a DreamTrips or LTC membership. They earn a $20 commission for sale of a DreamTrips or LTC membership to a third party, and $150 for a Luxury DreamTrips membership. After enrolling four new retail customers, the usual monthly membership or "overhead" fees are waived as long as these recruited customers remain "active." Acquiring six new customers in a 30-day period earns a $250 bonus.
TraVerus pays 65 percent of the commission rate for travel booked directly through your agents, and 20 percent of the commission on travel referred for booking to TraVerus. "Certified" agents receive 75 percent of the commission for all travel booked through their own portal, or booked directly from the travel supplier, and 20 percent of the commission rate referred to TraVerus to be booked.
World Ventures pays a maximum $100 weekly team bonus based on the sales generated by representatives in your group (yourself and "downline" members recruited after you and placed on the following tier). The organization also offers occasional promotions that increase the amount of the bonus.
A monthly overhead fee is charged at the rate of $59.95 by TraVerus. RBS representatives of World Ventures pay a $9.95 fee monthly to keep their status active.
TraVerus pays residual income of $5 per month from everyone you earn a bonus from. World Ventures pays monthly residuals in the amount of $20 from fees generated from at least six members you have recruited. You must reach Director rank in order to earn these residual commissions.
Both companies offer discounts on personal travel you book through their portals.
