A Magic Your Way Base Ticket provides access to one park per ticket. This type of ticket is for visitors who want to visit a single park each day. These base tickets are available for anywhere from one to ten days, and the price per day decreases as you increase the number of days that your ticket will include. As of August, 2009, a single Magic Your Way Base Ticket is $79 for guests ages 10 and up and $68 for guests 3 to 9 years old. In comparison, a 7 Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket is $234 which comes to only $33.43 per day. For 10 days, the daily ticket price plummets further to $24.30 per day, or $243 for the entire ten days.
A Magic Your Way Park Hopper Ticket allows guests to travel from one park to another at will. You can visit as many parks as your agenda will allow each day, and are free to come and go between various parks as many times as you like. The price per day for a Park Hopper Ticket will decrease as you increase the number of days that you will be visiting. For guests ages 10 and up, a single Park Hopper Ticket is $131 as of August, 2009. For children 3 to 9, the same ticket is $120. A seven day Magic Your Way Park Hopper Ticket is $40.86 per day, or $286 for the entire week. With a ten day Park Hopper Ticket, the price per day decreases to only $29.50 each day, or $295 for the whole ticket.
A Walt Disney World Annual Pass allows guests to visit this world class theme park any day of the year. Pass holders can also visit as many parks as they want to each day. A Premium Annual Pass also includes admission to DisneyQuest, both Disney water parks, and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. Annual pass holders get free parking at all theme parks as well as special discounts and offers at Disney World. The August 2009 price for an Annual Pass is $489 for guests 10 and older and $432 for guests 3 to 9. A Premium Annual Pass is $619 for guests 10 and older and $546 for those 3 to 9.
Florida residents can enjoy several special ticket prices for Walt Disney World. Base Tickets, Park Hopper Tickets, Annual Passes, and Premium Annual Passes are available at discounted rates. Florida residents are also eligible for an exclusive 3-Day Play Pass and a Play 4 Days Pass. These tickets allow guests to visit one park for each day of their ticket. Rather than having the usual 14 day expiration, these tickets are good for 6 months, allowing the guest to return at their convenience for each day of play. Residents can also purchase a pass to visit EPCOT any day of the year after 4PM, or to visit the water parks after 2PM.
Walt Disney World has two water parks: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Single day tickets are available for these parks for $45 for guests 10 and older and $39 for guests 3 to 9, as of August 2009. For guests who are interested in a dryer experience, Disney has the DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park located at Downtown Disney. Tickets to this park are $41 for guests 10 and older and $35 for children 3 to 9. Admission to the water parks and DisneyQuest can also be added to a Magic Your Way Base Ticket or Park Hopper Ticket for an additional fee.
The ticket prices quoted above do not include any applicable taxes for this purchase. These tickets also expire 14 days from their first use. For tickets that do not have an expiration date, you can add the No Expiration option to your package for an additional fee. For a seven day Magic Your Way Base Ticket, the No Expiration option takes the ticket price from $234 to $349. With the Park Hopper option, this seven day ticket goes from $286 to $401 with the No Expiration option.
