According to the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) website, you can bring more than three ounces of formula, breast milk or juice, so long as it is in reasonable amounts. However, in order to bring these items, you must separate these items and advise the agents at the screening area.
A parent is permitted to carry canned or jarred baby food, provided that you are bringing a reasonable amount for the child traveling with you on the airplane.
Other liquids, such as juice and gel or liquid based teething toys are permitted.
While most airlines allow only one carry on, when traveling with an infant or toddler, you are also allowed to stow a baby stroller. The stroller is placed in the cargo area during the flight.
If medications are needed by the infant or toddler, the medication may be permitted. The medication must be marked with that person's name and must be contained in reasonable quantities.
