The Guam Youth Sports Association, located on the Guam naval base, is one of the best avenues to get children involved with seasonal sports and fitness. Registrations are available for baseball, running, tennis, ballet, golf and more. Additionally, kids may sign up for Flag Football Camp or Basketball Camp.
Real World Diving on Guam allows children to take advantage of the world class diving waters around the island. No previous experience is required, and novices aged 8 to 11 are introduced using Snuba techniques, which allow for shallow dives with the air tank kept on the boat. Snubadoo is available for children aged 4 to 8. Real World Diving also offers snorkeling lessons and dolphin sight-seeing tours.
The Pacific Islands Club, with its impressive water park, makes a variety of sports and activities available to children aged 4 to 12. Parents may enroll their kids in swimming, nature walks and sailing. Recreational outdoor sports are also enjoyed at PIC, keeping children active all day with lunch served by the club.
Similarly, at the Onward Beach Resort, kids may sign up for a wide array of sporting activities, such as kayaking expeditions, wind-surfing lessons and paddle-boating. Guam is ideally situated for aquatic sports, and visiting children should be thoroughly entertained.
Guam boasts some of the world's finest golf courses, with two designed by Arnold Palmer and one designed by Jack Nicklaus. The courses range in difficulty to accommodate all skill levels, including young beginners. The 20 courses are all public and easily accessible from every major hotel.
