Malaysian Immigration Requirements

The requirements for immigration to Malaysia are spelled out in the country's "My Second Home Programme" (MM2H). This program, sanctioned by the government, allows foreigners to live in Malaysia for a long period of time. The initial period for a "Social Visit Pass" is 10 years and can be renewed upon expiration. Malaysia's friendly immigration policy enables foreigners to live in Malaysia if they fulfill certain requirements, noted below.
  1. Application Forms

    • Fill out the necessary application forms, including a copy of the MM2H Application, available on the MM2H website. An application form is required for each immigrant, including dependents. Also fill out three copies of the IM.12 Form, otherwise known as the Social Visit Pass, for each individual immigrant.
