Roll the dials on your Master Lock 4688D padlock to the factory default "000" combination.
Grasp the side of the shackle cable that doesn't have any text written near it -- the side where the arrow points opposite to the side that has "TSA" and "SLOT" written on the lock body around it.
Slide the cable end toward the arrow and top center of the lock body. Pull the cable end from the hole.
Press the tip of a pencil, pen or paperclip against the button on the bottom of the lock body directly beneath the dials and hold the button pressed in.
Turn the dials to the new 3-digit combination number that you chose and then pull the pencil, pen or paperclip away from the button to release it and set the new combination.
Insert the shackle cable end into its hole on the top of the lock body and then pull the cable toward the side to secure it in place. If done correctly, you should feel or hear it click when it locks.
Shift the dials so that they no longer show your combination.
Redial the new combination and then slide and pull the shackle cable from the hole in the lock body to confirm that the new combination works.
