According to the Malaysian Water Industry Guide 2019, the average daily water consumption per capita in Malaysia is 198 litres. This is equivalent to approximately 52.4 gallons of water per person per day. This figure is higher than the global average water consumption per capita, which is estimated to be around 130 litres per day.
