Recount text went to the beach?

In the morning, we packed a picnic lunch and loaded up the car with beach chairs, towels, and sunscreen. We were all excited to spend the day at the beach.

The drive to the beach was about an hour long, but it seemed to take forever. Finally, we arrived and found a parking spot. We quickly unpacked the car and headed for the beach.

The sand was warm and soft beneath our feet. The waves were crashing against the shore, and the seagulls were squawking overhead. We found a spot to set up our chairs and towels, and then we all ran into the water.

The water was cool and refreshing. We swam, played in the waves, and built sandcastles. We had so much fun that we didn't want to leave.

Finally, as the sun began to set, we decided it was time to head home. We packed up our things and said goodbye to the beach. We had a wonderful day, and we can't wait to go back again soon.
