Who bought the London Bridge and when?

The London Bridge was not sold as a whole. However, in 1968, the City of London sold the bridge to American entrepreneur Robert McCulloch for £1 million (about $2.4 million at the time). McCulloch had the bridge dismantled and shipped to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where it was reconstructed as a tourist attraction.
