Ixtapa Mexico Cheap Hostels

The Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo beach resort region of Mexico's Guerrero state is a comparable tourist destination to Acapulco, but with fewer crowds and a small-town charm. Though technically Ixtapa and Zihauntanejo are different cities, their kindred spirits and interlocking municipal areas form one extended destination for travelers headed to Mexico's famous Pacific coast. An important tip for travelers is not to confuse Ixtapa the beach destination for Ixtapa the small inland town between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco.
