The Disney Cruise Line offers two Transatlatinc cruises following the same route. One travels eastbound from the Bahamas to Europe and the other takes the westbound trip. Both trips include five to six ports of call and eight days at sea. On the boat, families can watch live Disney shows or swim in one of the boat's pools. Disney Cruise Lines call itself "the most family-friendly cruise experience available" and provide a myriad of youth clubs and activities. Disney offers pre and post hotel deals for families that would like to extend their vacation.

On a Disney Cruise Lines Transatlantic cruise, travelers experience a variety of cities during their 14-night adventure.
The eastbound cruises, which leave from Port Canavarel, Florida, include stops in Dinsey's own Cataway Cay in the Bahamas and then proceeds to make four stops on the European coastline including the "floating garden" of Madeira, Portugal and the geological wonder of Gibraltar, U.K. The easbound trip ends in historic Barecelona, Spain.
The wesbound cruises leave from Barcelona and also stops in Girbraltar and Madeira and makes three stops in the Carribean. Westbound Disney passengers will have a chance to visit the sandy beaches on both islands of St. Maarten and Tortola. The Westbound cruises ends in Port Canaveral, Florida--just an hour's drive from Disneyworld for guests who haven't gotten their Disney fix yet.
Both east and westbound cruise passengers spend eight days not at port but at sea on the Disney Magic cruise liner. On the boat, guests can choose from seven different staterooms from the smallest, simplest Standard Stateroom which sleep three to four people and do not have an exterior view to the Concierge Suites which sleep up to seven guests and include a private verandah. Once on board, all guests are entitled to take advantage of onboard activities and entertainment. In addition to it's three pools and 15 restaurants, the Disney Magic has both movie and live theaters to entertain guests. While Disney is known for it's kid-focus and the cruise line offers programs from kids from pre-school through teenage years, there are also adult-only spaces including bars, nightclubs and adult-only pools and restaurants.
