Every day there are contests and activities beside the pool in which the whole family can participate. A schedule of events is listed in the daily itinerary. Some competitions are for kids only, others are just for adults and some involve the entire family. There are hula hoop contests, water gun target practice competitions and best leg (for adult men) contests, among others. Even if you don't want to get in on the action, you can go and watch other people act silly or catch a glimpse of Nickelodeon characters parading around.
Treat the kids to a breakfast with some of their favorite Nickelodeon characters, such as Dora the Explorer, Spongebob, the Wonder Pets, Diego, and Phineas and Ferb. As you eat, the characters will come and greet guests, take photos and even dance to music. It's an experience your kids will be sure to remember as they meet many of the characters they see on their favorite Nick shows. There is an additional cost for this breakfast.
One of the original Nick shows, Slime Time Live is a part of ship life on a Nickelodeon family cruise. The game involves answering questions within a specific time frame. If you fail to answer enough questions correctly, you get "slimed," which means that a big bucket of green slime is dumped over your head. This is a hilarious activity for the whole family, and sometimes the crew will also take part in the game as well as the Nick characters. Kids will especially enjoy trying to slime their parents or others on board.
The ship also offers all the standard amenities most cruise ships have, such as an arcade, sports court, casino, swimming pools, fitness center and theaters. Adults can take part in daily yoga classes, play trivia games in the bars or get a massage in the spa. While the adults enjoy themselves, the kids can participate in a number of age-appropriate programs. They will have the opportunity to put on puppet shows, have water competitions, do scavenger hunts on board and participate in dance parties (for the teens).
