Ride the roller coasters. Lake Compounce is home to three thrilling and exciting roller coasters. Their best is the Boulder Dash, a smooth riding wooden roller coaster that moves you through an actual forest at top speeds of 65 mph.
Check out the other thrill rides in the park like the Rotor, Twister, Down Time, and the fun Thunder Rapids. The Rotor is one of the best thrill rides and actually spins you around the room so fast that you stick to the walls when the floor drops.
Cool off at Lake Compounce’s water park. Right next to a lake, the water park is filled with a lot of different and fun water slides, and also a relaxing lazy river. Take your whole group on the Mammoth Falls family raft ride.
Get free drinks, available at the park all day. Unlike many other amusement parks that may overcharge for soda, one huge benefit of visiting Lake Compounce are the unlimited drinks that are available all day.
Bring your children to see one of the shows that is put on by Lake Compounce in the park. From Garfield’s Dance Party to the Swingin’ Safari, there is something entertaining everyday at Lake Compounce.
Grab a bite to eat at one of the many food places at the park. There is a large selection of fried foods and candy shops throughout the park and plenty of picnic tables to enjoy the food at.
Wait until October to visit the park to enjoy Lake Compounce’s Halloween festivities. The park is transformed into a haunted place, with creatures roaming around and many scary sights to see including the haunted graveyard.
