Visit either the Ansel Adams Gallery or the Yosemite Museum Gallery. Yosemite has long attracted artists and photographers. Take a guided photography walk if you are interested in photographing Yosemite's breathtaking views.
Drive Tioga Road, one of the most popular scenic drives. The 39 mile drive will take around two hours and connects Crane Flat to Tioga Pass. You'll pass granite domes, lakes and meadows. The road has a number of scenic turnouts to enjoy the views.
Stargaze on warm summer nights. Since the park is miles from city lights, it offers a place to see constellations. Astronomy walks and talks are offered at several locations throughout the summer. Check the official Yosemite National Park website for more information.
Hike to groves of giant sequoias. The most accessible grove is Mariposa Grove in the south part of the park. Several miles of hiking is required to reach other groves, but they are less visited.
View one or more of Yosemite's famous waterfalls. From Bridalveil to Yosemite Falls, you can find several waterfalls which are a close walk from parking areas.
Stop at El Capitan Meadow for a view of the famous rock formation. You'll also get a view of Cathedral Rocks from the meadow. Use binoculars to look for climbers on the rock formations.
Take the two-hour Yosemite Valley tram tour. The narrated tour covers discussion of Yosemite's most famous landmarks and the history of the park. This way, you can pay attention to the scenery and not the car ahead of you.
