When was Hadrians wall finished being built?

The construction of Hadrian's Wall was not finished at any particular point in time. It was an ongoing process that spanned at least several years. The wall was first commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 122 AD and it is believed that it was largely completed by 130 AD, though some subsequent work may have been carried out after that date.
