What was the length of D-Day beaches?

The D-Day beaches had a total length of approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles). The beaches were divided into five sectors, each with its own codename: Sword Beach, Juno Beach, Gold Beach, Omaha Beach, and Utah Beach. Sword Beach was the easternmost beach and was assigned to British troops. Juno Beach was located to the west of Sword Beach and was assigned to Canadian troops. Gold Beach was the next beach to the west and was assigned to British troops. Omaha Beach was located to the west of Gold Beach and was assigned to American troops. Utah Beach was the westernmost beach and was also assigned to American troops.
