The Gypsy Monument (also called the Gypsy Shrine or Memorial) stands on Moel y Golfa near Welshpool, Powys, Wales. It was erected in 2006 by artist Ernest Burton.

Design and Meaning

• 12 granite blocks, each ~10 tons.
• Inscribed with names of Gypsy families from the Welshpool area.
• Commemorates the Romani community's nomadic way of life and history in Wales.
