The company offers Catholic and Protestant pilgrimages as well as cruises and exotic trips to China, Russia, Africa and the South Pacific. Nawas boasts that it has the most economical options combined with 60 years of experience.
Nawas Travel was originally founded on the idea of arranging trips specifically to the "Holy Land." This includes a cruise on the Sea of Galilee, a hike up the Mount of Olives, a tour of Jerusalem and a walk through the Garden of Gethsemane. Other features are also included depending on the tour you choose; tours longer than 10 days also include parts of Egypt, Greece and Turkey, following in the footsteps of prophets like Paul and gospel writers like St. John.
Pilgrimages to Italy range from eight to 12 days. The more you want to see, the longer the tour. The shortest tour includes Florence, Assisi (the birthplace and home of St. Francis) and a tour of Rome including the major basilicas. The 11-day tour includes Venice and a papal audience integrated in the Roman tour. The 12-day tour includes all of the above and the Sicilian sites where St. Paul preached.
This trio includes three shrines in three separate countries; Lourdes in France, Fatima in Portugal, and the Knock Shrine in Ireland. Tours range in length from eight to 11 days. Pilgrims can choose between tours that include Fatima and Lourdes, Lourdes and Paris, or Lourdes and Italy. Tours to Ireland are separate and include tours of regions connected to St. Patrick.
