Cleveland, Ohio has the usual attractions you would expect in a large city, but some adrenaline-pumping experiences may surprise some visitors. Extreme sports are readily available, and the area has a reputation for ghosts and haunted buildings. Even the local amusement park outshines others when it comes to thrills.
  1. Roller Coasters

    • Cedar Point Amusement Park is known for its record-breaking roller coasters. There are wooden, steel and hybrid coasters, each with its own special features. The Gemini features two trains speeding in parallel with each other. The Magnum XL-200 was the first roller coaster in the world to be built higher than 200 feet. The Top Thrill Dragster reaches 420 feet and has a speed of 120 miles per hour. Passengers stand up in the Mantis, and the Wicked Twister takes passengers backwards and forwards. Scaled-down versions of roller coasters are designed for younger visitors.

    Ghost Tours

Another bus tour goes to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, where people have reported sightings of Bigfoot.
