Bay Mills Resort and Casino became the first waterfront casino in the state when it opened on the shore of Waiska Bay in November 1995. The 15,000-square-foot gambling floor features about 1,000 slot machines, 14 gaming tables and a poker room and also offers video horse racing and live keno. The property's 142 hotel rooms were designed to replicate a cabin retreat. The resort features two restaurants and a lounge and offers discount packages with the nearby Wild Bluff Golf Course.

The Bay Mills Indians became a pioneer in tribal gaming when it opened the Bay Mills Community Center in July 1984. The center featured 15 blackjack tables, making it the first tribal casino in the United States to offer table gaming. The 6,500-square-foot property, later renamed Kings Club Casino, now houses about 250 low-stakes slot machines and a diner. The tribe runs a shuttle service between Kings Club and the Bay Mills facility about two and one-half miles away.
