A combination casino and lodge, the Leelanau Sands features more than 425 slot machines and plenty of table games, including poker. The lodge boasts fine dining at the Double Eagle restaurant and drinks at the Sand Dollar Bar. Entertainment acts are featured in the venue's 1,000-seat showroom. The Leelanau Sands Casino is closed Mondays and Tuesdays from January through March.

    Turtle Creek Casino

    • The Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel is a 360,000-square foot facility that opened in June 2008. Owned and operated by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, the $80-million facility is located a short distance from Traverse City in Williamsburg. However, many Traverse City hotels provide shuttle service to the Turtle Creek Casino. The Hotel offers 137 rooms and suites. Casual dining can be found at the hotel's signature restaurant, Bourbons 72, and live entertainment is the order of the day at the Level 3 Lounge.

    • The Little River Casino Resort is located in Manistee, a little over 50 miles from Traverse City.
