The Vineyard Inn on Suttons Bay provides winery tours of four Old Mission Wineries in Traverse City, Michigan. The bus stops at Chateau Chantal and the Peninsula Cellars among others. As of 2010, the tours cost $39 to $59 per person for a half day or $59 to $79 for a full day of five to six hours.
By the Bay Transportation provides a four-hour bus tour starting at most hotels in Traverse City and stops at four wineries. Starting at 1 p.m. the bus will drop you back at your hotel for a total cost of $49 per person, as of 2010, with a possible stop at the Old Mission Lighthouse.
In July, Travel Treasures & Tours takes a deluxe motor coach from the Dearborn Public Library for two nights in Traverse City for the Cherry Festival. The trip includes dinner at the Cottage Inn, a tour of the Music Museum and an optional casino trip.
