Look up the model of the camper you are thinking of buying in the NADA Guide. This guide lists the price of new and used recreational vehicles. Narrow down the value by selecting features that are included with your camper such as kitchen appliances, beds, luxury items such as TVs and stereo systems, and whether it has a waste tank.
Compare prices to other campers that are the same make and model as the one you are checking out. Find prices of several of the campers that are like yours to get an average price of the camper in good condition. Do this if you cannot find a listing for your camper model in the NADA Guide. There are many online sites that list campers for sale such as RV Traders, RV Online and RV USA.
Subtract the cost of any repairs from the value you come up with for the camper you are interested in. Get the cost of repairs by obtaining estimates from carpenters and mechanics.
