Who lives in Antarctica?

While Antarctica is largely uninhabited, there are several research stations operated by various countries, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, France, India, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These research stations are typically staffed by scientists, support personnel, and logistic workers during the summer months (November to March) and may have reduced staff during the winter months. Additionally, there are occasional visitors, such as tourists and journalists.
