1. Snow removal from sidewalks and driveways. Every owner or occupier of a residential property shall remove snow and ice from the sidewalks and driveways adjacent to their property within 24 hours of the end of a snowfall.

2. Snow removal from roofs. Every owner or occupier of a residential property shall remove snow and ice from the roof of their property within 48 hours of the end of a snowfall.

3. Disposal of snow and ice. Snow and ice removed from sidewalks, driveways, and roofs must be disposed of in a lawful manner. This includes placing snow and ice in the proper waste receptacles, or placing it in an area where it will not obstruct pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

4. Fines and penalties. Failure to comply with the snow removal by-laws may result in fines and penalties, including fines of up to $200 and the cost of removing the snow and ice by the City.
