Is there power lines in antarctica?

There are very few power lines in Antarctica. Most research stations use diesel generators to provide electricity. There are some wind turbines and solar panels in use, but these are mainly for experimental purposes. The extreme weather conditions in Antarctica make it difficult to build and maintain power lines.
