What did Lake Mead look like in 1983?

In 1983, Lake Mead was at its highest recorded level, reaching an elevation of 1,229 feet (375 m) above sea level. The lake's surface area was approximately 247 square miles (640 km2), and it contained 26.3 million acre-feet (32.5 km3) of water. The water level was so high that it submerged several roads and structures, including the town of St. Thomas, Nevada.
