Why Americans choose Liberia as a good site for relocating African Americans?

The United States did not choose Liberia as a good site for relocating African Americans. Rather, Liberia was founded by the American Colonization Society, a private organization that advocated for the colonization of free people of color outside the United States. The ACS believed that African Americans would be better off in Africa, where they could live in a society free from discrimination.
