Where is the Plateau of Tibet located?

The Plateau of Tibet is located in Central Asia, with most of it in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. It also extends into parts of the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, the Pakistani-controlled region of Gilgit-Baltistan, the Indian union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, the Chinese provinces of Qinghai, Sichuan and Yunnan and the eastern parts of the Indian-controlled regions of Kashmir and Aksai Chin.
