Choose whether you want to use regular post via Philpost (Philippine Postal Corporation) or a special courier such as FedEX, DHL or JRS Express to deliver the gift. If using Philpost, prepare the package in your own box prior to sending it out. If using FedEx or any other courier, use the box provided to you when you get there. If your gift is fragile or perishable, place a note on the box.
Visit the chosen outlet of the shipping company for the domestic sending of the gift from Cavite to anywhere in the Philippines. Make sure you have your name and address of the sender, and the name and address you are sending it to. At the post or courier office, the weight, the destination address and the type of service chosen for the parcel determine the amount you have to pay. If using Philpost, you may want to get insurance at an additional cost. When using special couriers, they already have it by default.
Fill out all required documentation, then pay the transaction fees. Unless you choose a regular service, you will receive a tracking slip so you can be updated on the status of the sending of the package. You may also restrict the delivery by indicating the words "Delivered to Addressee Only" on the package. Depending on your chosen service and company, the gift should arrive in Cavite anywhere between one to seven working days.
