Is Hong Kong a large city?

Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China and is considered to be a global city. It is a highly urbanised area with a population density of over 7,000 people per square kilometre. Hong Kong is known for its skyscrapers and densely populated areas, making it one of the most densely populated places in the world. The city is made up of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, and over 260 outlying islands. Hong Kong has a total land area of approximately 1,108 square kilometres.
