The Gold Coast is also home to more than a handful of theme parks. While they are speckled throughout the region, there are four major parks. Dreamworld is a mixture of rides and wildlife. At first glance it is all about the rides here, but the park also boasts several wildlife exhibits including Tiger Island and Sunset Safari. Sea World is the second of the four major parks and is a sibling to the Sea World in Orlando, Florida. The third park is Movie World, owned by Warner Brothers. Movie World is very kid-oriented and features Looney Tunes characters at every turn. To round out the quartet, Wet n' Wild is an enormous water park sure to keep you cool in the hot Australian sun.
