The Kimberley Adventure Centre works in association with the Canadian Avalanche Association and delivers avalanche safety training workshops during the winter. Individuals in the course learn about mountain topography, evaluating safe routes and snow stability. Additional activities include ice fishing, snowmobile tours and dog sledding. An outdoor photography workshop is also available, and instructors take visitors on expeditions in the area to capture photographs of mountain views, wildlife and portraits.
