Billing itself as the largest nightclub in Hamilton, Club SeventySeven is an upscale establishment with two DJ booths, large plasma TVs, full bottle service, VIP sections and large dance areas with high-tech lighting and sound systems. On Friday evenings it stages Student Night and caters to students from McMaster University and Mohawk College. The music on Fridays is top 40, and the club is open from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. The age limit that night is 19 and the cover charge is $5. On Saturdays,only customers 21 and over are admitted, the cover charge is $10 and the club is again open from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. The club plays a variety of music on Saturdays, including hip hop and reggae. Both nights have a dress code.

Opened in the spring of 2010, the Rokbar night club is a large facility with three different levels. The first floor features a huge dance floor and live musicians on stage. The second floor has booths with couches offering views of the first floor as well as a full bar. On the third floor is a giant plasma screen broadcasting the first-floor stage, a fully stocked bar and VIP sections with their own private cabanas. For some live music events, it is necessary to purchase tickets in advance. Patrons can also book their own bottle service in advance. In addition to Fridays and Saturdays, Wednesday is another big night. There are $2 mixed drinks until midnight and there's no cover charge for students with an ID.
Rokbar has a dress code on Friday and Saturdays, but the dress code is waived for some live concerts and other events.

Situated underneath a restaurant, the Liquid Kitty is often referred to as the "Liquid Lounge'' and is a popular destination for college students in the area. The club has plush cotton and leather sofas for lounging as well as large dance floors that feature DJs and live musicians. A lounge boasts pool tables and live bands on Friday and Saturday evenings. The club promotes its large selection of martinis, wines and various Labatt products. The club holds Ladies Nights and special events such as Christmas parties, when food is also provided. Although the club has a dress code, it is more casual than many other night clubs in Hamilton.
