The six hotels and resorts of Atlantis vary by price, luxury and amenities. Royal Towers is the flagship Atlantis property, featuring a range of rooms and suites and a remarkable skybridge connecting its two towers.
The most popular of the Atlantis hotels, according to Tripadvisor users, is the Reef Atlantis. Also quite expensive, the Reef Atlantis has more of a beach atmosphere than the Royal Towers. Some of the amenities include a pool, spa and health club. Another popular sub-resort is the Harborside Resort, which strives for a more intimate village feel. Pastel-colored villas provide spacious accommodations for families and friends alike.
The other Atlantis properties range from ultra-luxurious (The Cove Atlantis) to the lagoon-laden Coral Towers. Beach Tower rounds out the Atlantis accommodation options. All hotels have access to the casino, water park, marine life habitats and other Atlantis features.
The dining choices at Atlantis range in price, cuisine and intimacy. On the higher end of the scale are international luxury restaurants such as Nobu (Japanese), Bobbie Flay's Mesa Grill (Southwestern American) and Cafe Martinique (French). Other upscale dining options include Chop Stix (Chinese/Pacific-Rim fusion), Seafire Steakhouse and Casa D'Angelo (Italian). The New York Times travel team recommends Cafe Martinique and Nobu as some of Paradise Island's top dining options.
For those who seek a more casual dining experience, Atlantis has many options for relaxed dining. From burgers (Johnny Rockets) to Italian (Carmine's) to several bar and grills, Atlantis has several more moderately priced restaurants. And if you want an even more no-frills eatery, Atlantis has choices such as Marina Pizzeria, Ben & Jerry's and Pisces.
Atlantis has over-the-top attractions that rival even the most extravagant Las Vegas Hotels. Unfortunately, because of the frequency of cruise ship passengers coming ashore, the best attractions are often crowded from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you can brave the crowds and lines, make sure you visit Atlantis' many water activities. A slide in the middle of a pyramid and a lazy river are just two of the many water options. For those who want a more natural water experience, check out Atlantis' dolphin cay and scuba diving options.
Equally impressive are Atlantis' collection of lagoons and sea passageways that house 50,000 sea creatures. Eels, sharks, turtles and stingrays are the tip of Atlantis' virtual ocean. Pay special attention to The Dig, a particular marine habitat that pays tribute to the lost continent of Atlantis.
After you eat, take a stroll through the massive casino. If gambling isn't your thing, check out bars and nightclubs such as Aura and Platos or take in a show at Joker's Wild Comedy Club or the Atlantis Theatre.
Other Atlantis activities include spas, golf, fitness and pottery.
