"Land of the Midnight Sun": Applies to Arctic Regions, Not All Northern Europe

The term "Land of the Midnight Sun" correctly describes areas within the Arctic Circle (66.5°N) where the sun remains visible at midnight during summer solstice.

In Europe, this includes only the northernmost parts of:

• Norway (North Cape, Tromsø, Svalbard)
• Sweden (Kiruna, Abisko)
• Finland (Rovaniemi, Nuorgam)
• Russia (Murmansk, Norilsk — Asia)
• Iceland (Grímsey Island only; mainland is just below the Circle)
• Greenland (Denmark) – mostly Arctic.

Countries like Denmark (mainland), UK, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Baltics—though "Northern European"—do not experience the midnight sun. The label is geographic (Arctic), not political (Northern Europe).
