  1. People's Palace

    • Take a look at the everyday lives of Glasgow citizens in the past few decades. The People's Palace is unlike most museums because it is more about present and recent decades than hundreds of years ago. It is a museum where things may actually look familiar to you.

    Glasgow Science Centre

    • The Science Centre is home to the Glasgow Tower, IMAX, planetarium and hundreds of hands-on exhibits. This is one of Glasgow's newest museums, and many consider it to be the most fun.

    Stirling Castle

    • The Stirling Castle sits on top of one of the highest hills in Glasgow. It has a rock top and boasts the restored Great Hall and Royal Palace.

    Inveraray Castle

    • This castle is a true "fairy tale castle." Its Gothic design with pointed towers and corners is something out of "Sleeping Beauty." Built in the 1740s for the Duke of Argyll, the castle holds Regency furniture and priceless art.

    City Chambers

    • The City Chambers is one of Glasgow's most well-known buildings. It is based on Classical Italian architecture and was built by William Young in the 1880s. The inside is full of mahogany, gold leaf, Carrara marble, mosaics, balustrades and pillars.
