Are Protestants in Ireland discriminated against?

Discrimination against Protestants in Ireland is a complex issue with a long history. While Protestants have faced discrimination in the past, it is important to recognize that both Protestants and Catholics have experienced periods of discrimination and persecution in Ireland. In recent years, there have been efforts to promote greater equality and social cohesion between religious communities in Northern Ireland, although challenges remain. It is important to acknowledge and address these issues while avoiding generalizations and simplistic narratives.
