Who discovered Bolivia?

The Spanish conquistadors discovered Bolivia in the 16th century. The first European to set foot in Bolivia was Francisco Pizarro in 1532. Pizarro was searching for the legendary Inca Empire. He eventually found it in 1533. The Incas were a powerful empire that ruled over a large part of South America. Pizarro and his men conquered the Incas and took control of their empire.
