For those who would like to start their evening off with drinks, a good meal and maybe a little dancing thrown in, there's always Carlos 'n' Charlie's and the Hard Rock Cafe. Carlos 'n' Charlie's features mainly seafood and Mexican dishes. The Hard Rock Cafe specializes in American style cuisine and features a variety of burgers.
Baby 'O and the Palladium tend to appeal to a younger crowd--teens and up. Baby 'O has 1970s-style decor but plays a variety of very modern music. The Palladium offers great views and spectacular dance platforms.
There are several choices in this category. If you have money to spend Zucca is a great club and offers a fantastic view of the bay. Siboney is a classic piano bar--a wonderful place to relax and get away from the noise and offers an extensive champagne menus. And of course there's always Pepe's Piano Bar, in which the audience is invited to perform songs to a piano accompaniment.
Clubs which appeal to a wide variety of people include N Joy, featuring primarily Spanish dance music and Sr. Frogs, featuring some of the most notorious parties in Acapulco.
El Alebrije features well-known bands and singers performing, while Nina's features many celebrity impersonators, a live band and professional Salsa Dancing.
While many places don't have a dress code at all, there are more than a few clubs in Acapulco that forbid shorts, sandals, jeans, tennis shoes and the like. If you don't know, be sure to call the club and inquire in advance.
