Kaarle XII is a two-level, multi-bar live music venue which opened in 1976. It features live bands, cover bands and DJs spinning all kinds of music. The bar also sponsors various theme nights, including Toga Nights, 60s Nights, Beach Nights, Pirate Nights and other costume parties. The extensive bars are separated from each other, allowing them to be rented individually for parties. For private parties, age limits are negotiable; however, for public access, the minimum age on Tuesday and Wednesday is 18, and for Thursday to Saturday it is 24.

Storyville, a jazz club in Helsinki, is a New Orleans-themed jazz club featuring live music, a full bar and Cajun food. The club has both local and foreign bands as well as the occasional DJ.
