The Marcus Corporation bought the former Playboy Resort and reopened as the Grand Geneva Resort in 1993. Today the resort features 355 guest room and suites. The resort also includes a spa, horseback riding and a downhill ski area.
There is one Playboy logo remaining on the property. Over the years, all of the Playboy logos have been removed from the property but this one lone icon of an era long gone is located in the main guest area.
The Timber Ridge Lodge located at Grand Geneva Resort features the 5,000 sq. ft. Moose Mountain Falls Water Park. This indoor/outdoor park has two 35-foot high slides and a lazy river. The lodge offers 225 one- and two-bedroom suites.
The Grand Geneva Resort offers two 18-hole champion courses a lighted driving range and a putting green.
The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva features 18 ski runs and five lifts. The ski runs range from "Easy" to "Expert". There are also six miles of cross-country ski trails around the resort.
