Over 100 state parks exist within Pennsylvania's boundaries. Every July, The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts brings over 125,000 artists and admirers to State College and Penn State's University Park campus. Since the late 1800s, thousands have been gathering each February 2nd in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to see if a groundhog named Punxsutawney Phil will predict an early end to winter.
