The Monroeville Historical Society offers tours of two historic homes, the McGinley and McCully houses, during the summer. The Old Stone Church may be toured by private arrangement. Monroeville has more than 20 municipal parks, including Boyce Park, which hosts a yearly jazz festival.
Monroeville has two shopping malls. Miracle Mile Shopping Center is smaller and features retail stores aimed at the budget-conscious. The mall features a Marshall's department store and an Old Navy, as well as other shops and restaurants. Monroeville Mall is a large mall with national chains such as Abercrombie and Fitch and Macy's. Monroeville offers a wide range of dining options, including Indian, Chinese and Italian restaurants.
Monroeville has nine hotels offering a price range to suit most budgets. Business hotel chains such as the Courtyard Marriott and Doubletree are represented, as are cheaper hotels, such as Red Roof Inn and Days Inn.
