There are hundreds of clubs in Los Angeles to ring in the new year by dancing the night away - everything from Sunset Boulevard red-roped celebrity clubs to jazz and techno. Three of the most well known are Social Hollywood (on Sunset Boulevard) and The Wiltern (located on Wilshire Boulevard, where the Rolling Stones have played) and Together As One, America's largest New Year's Eve Party featuring the #1 DJ Armin (hosted at the LA Sports Arena).
For between $100 and $200, you can celebrate New Year's in Hollywood glamor on a back lot at Paramount Pictures (located on Melrose Avenue). The event has been a huge success for years, and in 2009, Paramount hosted a party with five sound stages and a surprise celebrity appearance by Katy Perry. Thousands of people attend this upscale event, with dancing, live music and dj's on every sound stage.
Hobnob with celebrities at the upscale venues such as Apple Lounge (located in West Hollywood) known for its outdoor patio. Other favorite celebrity hangouts are My House (a unique 10,000-square-foot space designed like a modern home, with bedrooms and a jacuzzi, as well as a screening room and backyard with outdoor patio).
